New York Red Bulls Opens $100M Training Center for Pros & Youth

The New York Red Bulls have officially unveiled their cutting-edge $100 million training facility in Morris Township, New Jersey, in April. Named the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center, this state-of-the-art complex is designed to serve both the professional Major League Soccer squad and thousands of aspiring young athletes, bringing all levels of the club under one roof.

This significant investment underscores the club's long-term vision for sustained success. Marc de Grandpré, President and General Manager of Red Bull New York, emphasized the strategic importance of the facility, stating, "The objective was always to have a space that we could grow into—not just good for the moment, but to think about the future. Our success on the first team is going to be predicated on our success in the academy, ultimately."

Spanning an expansive 80 acres, the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center boasts an impressive array of amenities. It features eight full-size soccer pitches, including a dedicated 350-seat match field, providing ample space for diverse training needs.

Beyond the pitches, the facility is equipped with modern gyms, advanced physiotherapy spaces for player recovery and rehabilitation, and dedicated classrooms for tactical instruction and academic support. A team-building dining hall further fosters a cohesive environment for all participants.

The new complex now serves as the primary practice ground for the New York Red Bulls' MLS team and their second-division affiliate, Red Bull New York II. Crucially, it also integrates the organization's extensive youth development programs, catering to approximately 6,000 kids annually through its academy and soccer camp initiatives.

This unique investment for an American soccer team highlights the New York Red Bulls' commitment to nurturing talent from grassroots to professional levels. By consolidating training and development efforts, the club aims to build a robust pipeline of talent, ensuring a bright future for soccer in the region.
